Donor Relations Officer

The Donor Relations Officer is responsible for major donor relationship acquisition and cultivation on behalf of the ministry. This position also is the primary contact for corporations on behalf of PRM with the goal of building relationships and ongoing collaboration between Portland Rescue Mission and the community.

Women's Connect Night Associate

Portland, OR

The Women's Connect Night Associate is responsible for ministering to female guests from the homeless population during the evenings and overnight shift. This position maintains a safe environment of the women’s sleeping quarters and provides a relational and ministerial presence to women served in our Burnside Shelter.

Gifts Processing Associate

Portland, OR

Facilitate excellent service to the donor community of Portland Rescue Mission by accurately processing donations, responding to donor inquiries, managing data related to our donor database system, and keeping all records up to date. Along with these duties this individual will assist the Gift Processing manager, Gift Processing associate and Finance team with other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Assistant

Portland, OR

The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for daily maintenance and improvement of PRM facilities. This position requires a relational person, who is well organized and has the skills of a good craftsman, and will work closely with our Facilities Manager. The Maintenance Assistant will also support renovation projects as needed.

Administrative Assistant- Shepherd's Door

Portland, OR

As the Administrative Assistant at Shepherd’s Door, this position will provide assistance to the Life Skills Manager and other managers as deemed appropriate. This person will be the initial contact for the general public and will provide office organization for the staff and residents. This includes, but is not limited to, facilities oversight, producing resident materials as needed, office organization, direction and coordination of administrative duties for the Shepherd’s Door Director and the Shepherd’s Door facility.

Family Life Ministries Assistant

Portland, OR

The Family Life Ministries program is designed to care for children age birth to 12 years who have been homeless and may have suffered abuse and/or neglect. While the primary focus is on the care of the child(ren), occasional interaction with the mother facilitates a family treatment approach. Primary emphasis with the children is on creating a school-like environment while increasing language and motor skills that may be delayed due to environmental factors. Older children are targeted for treatment and development of emotional growth with primary emphasis on building self-esteem and relationships of trust. This is a temporary, seasonal position for the summer (May-August).
